Growing up

It's crazy how fast Payton is growing up. It seems like every day she's picking up a few new words and has really become quite the little entertainer between her singing, dancing, and expressions like "oh my", "eye yi yi", and "whoa baby!"

We spent the last week in Oregon spending time with family and celebrating my little brother Ryan's wedding! We had a blast and enjoyed a little fall weather while we were at it. This was also the first trip to the farm where Payton could really get out there and enjoy the animals so we made sure to document it. I think she would have stayed outside the whole trip had we let her:)

Yesterday we went to Freestone Park with some friends and enjoyed some nice weather, music, and people watching.

Salt River

Today we took a drive to the Salt River which is about a 30 minute drive from our house and had a picnic lunch and let Harley play in the water. I was a bit nervous that Harley might get swept out in the current but she proved to be a strong swimmer and as you can see we all had a lot of fun.

Payton loves our dog Harley and LOVES to giver her treats! Every time she sees the dog treats she'll start signing (please, more, & help).  So we figured why not let her help us feed Harley. So we gave Payton her first chore.
