April

 Time continues to fly by and Payton doesn't seem to slow down either. It's hard to believe April has come and gone. We tried to do as much as we could outside this month knowing the weather won't allow for it much longer. We spent a lot of time playing with the water table, eating lunch on the patio, and even tried finger painting.

My mom came back in town this month as well and we spent some time up in Flagstaff with family at my Grandma's house. Payton had a built in playmate with my cousins son Jude. He is just the sweetest little guy and Payton is still talking about him:)

We also went and visited the Phoenix Children's Museum while my mom was in town. We ended up there on a day that was a little too crowded for my taste but Payton still enjoyed it.

Bringing flowers to Grammy

Payton has really started pretending this month too which is a lot of fun. She has a couple babies but seems to prefer putting diapers on her Elmo's. She pulls out the changing pad, wipes, and diapers and just sits there talking to Elmo and attempting to get a diaper on him. I love it!!

Payton's Apron

I finally got around to making Payton an apron! I've been wanting to make one for a while now but hadn't gotten around to it.

There are several tutorials you can find on Pintrest if you search for dish towel apron. It's super easy and anyone who has a sewing machine, can do a basic stitch, and has a dish towel and some ribbon can make one. I added a few ruffles that weren't part of the tutorials just to make it more girly...I just couldn't resist!

Relaxing After Yard Work

Brian decided to teach Payton how to relax after some yard work. The two of them crack me up! Just had to share some of the photo's;)

Hudson's 4th Birthday Party

Yesterday we went over to the Block's house to celebrate Hudson's 4th birthday party! It was a themed disco party and a ton of fun. My friend Katelyn sure does know how to throw a party! Visit her blog domesticcharm.blogspot.com to see more of her fun parties!

Havasu

A couple of weeks ago we headed up to Havasu to watch Alex compete in a triathlon. Pretty impressive stuff:)! I for one couldn't do the running, biking, or swimming let alone all three. Payton had fun just hanging out outsides itch her Grandpa and cheering her Uncle Alex on. By the end of the day she had "go Alex!" down.

Celebrating 5 Years

This month Brian and I celebrated our five year anniversary with a cruise. My mom came and watched Payton for the week which was such a blessing. It was still hard leaving her but knowing she was with my Mom made it a lot easier. They had a blast and of course Payton was more concerned with Grandma being out of her sight than Mom being home when we got back but it made me happy to know she had so much fun!
